A Brief Cathy Jean Shoes Store History

Cathy Jean is becoming quite a name in the footwear industry. With 46 stores in six states, the extent of its empire isn't exactly huge. However, the company still has dedicated plans to grow and expand as a designer and manufacturer of stylish contemporary shoes.

What makes a Cathy Jean shoes store such a model of quality and customer service? Well, first of all, Cathy Jean's efforts are directed toward public concerns. According to the official company site, the make and feel of Cathy Jean shoes is tailor made to the customer's consideration. Cathy Jean claims to really listen and hold an interest in the opinions of their patronage. This public-oriented policy is typically the point of propulsion behind every successful and expanding business.

Bits of Brazil

Although the Cathy Jean business is held together by a strong consumer-concerned philosophy, what has launched their products into the limelight is a focus on quality materials. Cathy Jean shoes are made from high quality Brazilian leather. The company states that this soft supple leather is the "essence" behind their footwear.

In fact, approximately 90 percent of their footwear products are crafted using this comfortable and flexible Brazilian leather. Being that the majority of consumers are concerned with the wearability factor of their footwear, who can complain about soft stretchy Brazilian leather?

Budget Friendly Footwear

Shoe fashionistas with a serious shopping need and an equally austere budget often have a difficult time keeping up with the latest trends. Sure, nothing beats the occasional Manolo Blahnik splurge. However, the ordinary customer would be living out of a cardboard box in no time if their need for Neiman Marcus exceeded their ability to pay bills. This is why it is good to purchase the latest wild seasonal trends from lower level designers like Cathy Jean.

A Cathy Jean store provides the public with merchandise that mimics the same styles you'll see seasonally strutting down the runway. Yet, the prices are far far lower than those of high designers. With shoes averaging around $40 to $60, you can afford a few seasonal indulgences.

Smart shoe shoppers know to spend top dollar on classic footwear styles that will remain timeless over the decades. If you're looking for a simple pair of black pumps, don't be scared to run after the latest kittenish Marc Jacobs styles. However, if you're seeking to replicate the most recent trend of strappy bright colored stilettos, head over to a store like Cathy Jean. The shoes will last only slightly longer than the trend and $40 a pair you won't feel any guilt whatsoever.

Keeping and Eye on Trends

The aforementioned philosophy is what fuels lower level footwear designers like Cathy Jean. The average shoe consumer is simply looking for a comfortable fit and the hottest trends regardless of the label. Since a Cathy Jean store knows that it can provide the public with plush Brazilian leather and a heap-load of sandals, wedges, pumps, and the most recent celebrity footwear lusts, there's no need to be crafting shoes using rare materials that boast price tags in the high hundreds.

Where to Purchase

Cathy Jean has stores in Washington, Florida, Georgia, California, Oregon and Arizona. As you can see, this chain shoe store is moving to dominate the West and South Eastern Coasts. You can locate each individual store online on the official Cathy Jean website.

However, if you're a fan of fashionable low-priced footwear and you're not located near any one of Cathy Jean's store locations, then you may rejoice in the fact that the official site also allows for some serious online shopping!

i was in the cathy jean store in serramonte shopping center, daly city, CA i asked for a pair of sandals in size 9, black. the sales associate said they had other sandals that were no longer out on display. she brought out 4 styles to chose from. i chose 1 pair to purchase. when i got home, i discovered they were size 8. it was a 24 mile round trip back to the store to return them. i was willing to exchange them for size 9 but was told they did not have it in stock. with the cost of gasoline I was not happy. i should have checked the size but i think the associate should have pointed out that the pair i chose was size 8 and not 9. it was not a good shopping experience and will probably chose not to shop there again.
