K Swiss Shoes

From LoveToKnow Shoes

Since 1966, California brand K-Swiss shoes have been a favorite of tennis players and other athletes. Attractive and high-performance, K-Swiss is popular on and off the court.

History of K-Swiss Shoes

Founded by two Swiss brothers who became tennis players when they moved to California, the K-Swiss shoe quickly became popular for its style and the quality of its design.

The first shoe introduced was the K-Swiss Classic, which was the first all-leather tennis shoe with a one-piece rubber outsole, a reinforced toe and D-ring lace hoops. The distinctive 5 stripes on each side remain a mark of K-Swiss today.

The Statement Collection

The most recent line of K-Swiss shoes, the Statement Collection, features the Classic look in bold exciting colors and designs, as well as some new interpretations. All the shoes are limited editions and will only be available at exclusive retailers. The collection includes:

  • The Classic
    • Four new versions of the 1966 original were designed for K-Swiss’ 40th Anniversary Japanese Collection and are now available in the United States.
