Favorite Styles

For fall, you're going to be going for muted metallic boots, black leather boots, wedge heels, and platform styles. Also, check out boots in rich tones of burgundy, plum, teal, rust, and brown. They're the hot colors for fall this year.

Here are a few of our favorite styles:

• Since the 1980s styles are coming back, so are the ankle boots! Here's a pair in black from kenzie.
• Charles David has a fabulous pair of leather boots available in teal, cognac, and dark brown. They have a pointy toe and a scalloped top. They'll all make great additions to your collection this fall.
• There's nothing hotter for bike wear than a pair of Harley-Davidson motorcycle boots. Try these out in brown or bone.
• Normally it's a bad idea to try too many trends at once, but these boots pull off the wedge heels and slouchy style together beautifully.

Versatility Unlimited

For just about every type of boot, you can find one in leather. Choose from:

• Thigh high boots for your club wear or to spice things up in the bedroom.
• Motorcycle boots--what else could they be made of? The hottest boots for riding on your transportation method of choice are usually leather!
• Black boots come in all shapes and sizes, but some of the most timeless pairs are--you guessed it--leather boots.
• Our men and women in the military also wear leather boots during their days at home, and during some deployments. They don't have much choice in their footwear when on duty, but you can get similar combat style leather boots.

Keeping Them Clean

Leather boots are easy to keep clean! In most cases, you just have to wipe them off with a damp cloth and sometimes a bit of moisturizing soap. If you feel the need to shine or polish your leather boots, check the shoe shine guide.

How to Wear Them

Depending on the type of leather boots you get, you can wear them with anything!

• Knee High/Below-the-Knee: Pair these with short skirts, right-above-the-knee skirts, blue jeans, or long skirts. Just don't wear them with shorts.
• Ankle boots: Pair leather ankle boots with tights and a mini for a retro style. You can also wear them with your blue jeans or slacks, but beware of crossing your legs and showing the tops of the boots. That's not the most put-together look.
• Thigh high boots: These are generally reserved for club wear and fetish fashion. You probably wouldn’t want to wear them to work!
