Louis Vuitton Replica Shoes
From LoveToKnow Shoes
There is a huge market for Louis Vuitton Replica shoes among consumers looking to purchase counterfeit designer goods in order to cut costs and still appear fashionable. But is the world of phony brand name merchandise as much of a bargain as unwitting buyers are led to believe? Or is the replica industry masking a wealth of high costs under the guise of cheap products? Read on as LoveToKnow explores the concept of counterfeit merchandise and reveals the truth behind this increasing scandal.
The High Cost of Louis Vuitton Replica Shoes
Alongside high-end designers like Gucci and Prada, Louis Vuitton is one of the most commonly replicated designers. Everything from handbags, shoes, umbrellas, and small leather goods is easily counterfeited by the replica industry and then posted for severely discounted prices on eBay and other online auction sites.
Consumers are often delighted at the opportunity to pay mild amounts of money for products that are thought to be "just as good" as the original designer merchandise. With the average price of a signature monogrammed Louis Vuitton handbag running at about $600, why pay such a ridiculous amount of money when you can purchase a replica for one fourth the price? Most buyers consider the prices of high designer merchandise to be outrageous and horrendously inflated. Unfortunately, the uneducated consumer is forgetting certain essential truths about the world of business.
Every company is out to make a profit. Products that you can purchase for $10 will often only cost $2 or $3 to manufacture, perhaps even less. The point of this lesson is for consumers to understand that, in most cases, profits balance out across the board and you are getting what you pay for. Companies that do not provide outstanding goods to match their outstanding prices do not stay in business for long. Where the world of fashion is concerned, the merchandise speaks for itself.
When you drop $500 for a Louis Vuitton tote bag or a pair of canvas slippers, you are paying for high quality. These products are made using the finest care, craftsmanship, and materials. Special attention is paid to each detail. Your monogrammed pumps will feature a monogram that is flawlessly lined up, such that each little "LV" is a testament to perfection; and this is just the beginning. Those leather handles on your Louis Vuitton speedy bag are crafted from high quality leather made to withstand the test of time.
When properly cared for, your Louis Vuitton shoes and bags can remain in mint condition for decades. Try weighing the mark of quality against a pair of Louis Vuitton replica shoes. Within a month the replicas you paid at least $100 for will be looking as worn and ungainly as a pair of ordinary shoes. Replicas are cheaper, but they will wear out as quickly as cheaper products.
Where Your Money Goes
Let's remember that the selling of replicated designer goods is an infringement of copyright laws and is totally illegal. When you think you're saving a quick couple of dollars by purchasing counterfeit Louis Vuitton goods, you are also supporting a crime operation.
Alright, so you think it isn't affecting you directly. However, the amount of money the American taxpayers end up doling out at the end of the year due to the sale of counterfeit brand name products is both shocking and soaring. Never forget the replica industry generates billions of dollars in the sale of non-taxed phony merchandise.
Where to Purchase
You can easily find Louis Vuitton replica shoes on the internet at places such as eBay and most online auctions. Whenever you see allegedly brand new Louis Vuitton merchandise being sold at remarkably slashed prices, you are more than likely looking at a counterfeit item. If you want to avoid the purchase of these fake items, but don't have the time to run to a Louis Vuitton retailer, try buying designer goods from authorized department stores such as:
- Saks Fifth Avenue
- Barneys New York
- Neiman Marcus
- Bergdorf Goodman
If you still feel the need to explore options such as eBay, research your vendors carefully. Be on the lookout for ridiculously discounted shoes.

Bethany, thanks so much for your comment. Some brands are quite brazen when it comes to their "replicas." Steve Madden was recently sued by Alexander McQueen for copying - there's no other word for it, really - a McQueen bootie style. It can be a dangerous game for those designers who choose to replicate. There's a fine line between "inspired by" and "copied," I think.
-- Contributed by: TsharmaI agree with both of you in a way. I own alot of authentic items, and some replicated ones as well. I always buy authentic bags because they do last a long time. Also, the handbag styles don't change quite as often as clothing does. I do own replicated shoes though. I don't see the point of spending a thousand dollars on a pair of Christian Louboutin heels that are just going to get torn up on my feet. I can always spot a fake handbag. But, there are some really great replica heels out now that know one can tell the difference.
-- Contributed by: BethanyThanks for your comment. To clarify, we have no connection whatsoever with Louis Vuitton or any other label. The truth of the matter is that the replica market is going strong and will continue to do so as long as consumers are willing to pay for counterfeit products.
The average consumer may not be able to afford the newest pair of Louis Vuitton or Chanel heels, but a replica does the consumer no favors in the long run. Sure, it may resemble the original ever so slightly, but a trained eye (or a big fan) will be able to discern real from fake right away. The materials are often fake and the quality is almost always inferior. There's no denying that, particularly when said shoe begins to fall apart after a handful of wears. The same likely will not be said about the high-end shoe, no matter what the label might be.
I do agree with your point that there is a tremendous amount of focus placed on status, and people buy fakes simply so that it appears that they can afford the real thing. There's something grossly wrong about investing in products that are essentially pretending to be something they are not.
On the other hand, an "inspired" shoe is one that is similar but not identical, and chances are a known label makes it. This is always a much better option than a replica, and affordable, to boot.
By the way, there are plenty of Louis Vuitton shoes available for less than $1000, to quote your figure.
