Women's Sandals--What Summer's All About
It's time to show off those pedicures and the best way is through women's sandals. One of the best things about summer is actually the footwear. Sandals can be dressy or casual; they can go anywhere depending on the style. Wear them to work if your dress code allows open-toed shoes. Wear them on the weekends. You can even find a good stiletto pair to wear out for the nightlife. Sandals and boots are two of the most versatile types of shoes--from opposing seasons. Sandals are big in the spring and summer while boots are great for fall and winter.
Women's Dressy, Strappy Shoes
These are the women's sandals that are work-ready, weekend-ready or great for a night out. Stilettos aren't necessary. You can wear platform sandals like those that were big in the 1970s that are making their comeback now, or [[Wedge Shoes|wedges that have been around most of the season. They will continue to be big for the rest of the year.
Only in the summer can you get away with baring this much. The Vaneli Melarie is available in five sexy neutrals.
If you're looking for something on the trendy, less expensive side, check out the Pelle Moda Cosmo, available in Bone, Lime or Pink.
Casual Sandals
These are the ones you wear during the day for errands, fun, going out for coffee or shopping. The heel's usually a fairly low one, which offers the most comfort possible.
The Women's Timberland Power Lounger Slide screams comfort. The neutral shade is just what you need for days when you don't feel like thinking too much about accessorizing.
While the Taryn Rose Paprika is a bit on the pricey side, the heel is low enough to keep you comfortable throughout the day. Bonus: it's stylish!
Flat Sandals
You'd think that flat sandals could just fit right in with the casual sandals. But flats aren't all casual. You can find some deliciously hot, flat sandals great for a night out--or a dressy outfit.
You could pair the Anne Klein New York Preston with anything from blue jeans to a form-fitting halter and a skirt. They're flats, but the detailing makes them anything but two-dimensional.
Try these Women's Born Nellie shoes for a no-brainer pair to slip on anytime. They'll go with just about anything.
Want to add a little color to your summer footwear wardrobe? The Women's Sofft Monaco is the answer.
Designer Sandals
If shoes are your method of showing off your style, or if you use them as a status symbol in the fashion world, you'll want to look into designer sandals.
For a wash of beach-inspired watercolor on your feet, look to the Vigotti Irina. It's available in blue or pink. It's strappy and has a strap across the back for extra security.
Sexy, yet simple, the Anne Klein New York Cabana is what you need to take you from day to night. Available in three neutral shades, it's just what you're looking for in a summer sandal.
