Chloe, Zappos does actually carry quite a range of narrow shoes. Simply search for "narrow shoes" on the site and a menu pops up which allows you to search by your specific narrow size. There are plenty in AAA, as you'll see. Good luck!

that Zappos sells narrow shoes is an outright lie. They have all the marketing schpiel in the world. Then they show sort of 2 ugly pumps in narrow. So please don't list them. I am DESPERATE for really sexy pretty REALLY narrow shoes. A triple A would do nicely. But they're NOT available. But as for ZAPPO's that's a dead duck. It's all pretense.

I need a smart, sensible, lace-up walking shoe in a AA fit - with an inch to an inch and a quarter heel. As I have back-trouble, I need to be able to try the shoe on in a shop to check the balance is correct. No helpful info was found.

Casey, I feel your pain on behalf of my friends who have said the same thing! Though they aren't advertised as narrow, many of the high-end labels' shoes are on the narrow-to-very narrow side. Check out brands like Cole Haan, Stuart Weitzman and Donald J. Pliner. I hope this helps a bit!

Yes, the internet has helped to make narrow shoes more available but only for women over the age of 60. I am 21 with narrow feet and trust me you won't find a narrow shoe out there, even at zappos.com and shoebuy.com, that looks like anyone that is not a senior citizen can where.

I hear ya, Tara. The selection of narrow shoes for little girls borders on dull most of the time. There is a company called European Sole that specializes in footwear for narrow feet (and kids in general), but it does not appear that they ship to the US. You might want to contact them and find out. Best of luck.

This is such a frustrating problem. I used to have narrow feet but they got a little wider after a few pregnancies. But my poor 6-year-old would love for some of the cute shoes out there to fit her. All we can find in narrow for little girls is plain, plain, plain.

Meagan, thanks for your comment. I know a lot of our readers share your frustration. At your age, purchasing costly shoes is probably out of the question! You might want to check out some of the discount stores, like Marshalls and TJ Maxx, for a selection of nice (and hopefully narrow) shoes at reasonable prices. Good luck.

It's so frustrating to find shoes when you're a narrow. I'm a 14 year old and shoe shopping is supposed to be fun. I found lots of cute shoes from this sight but none that I could actually aford.
